I am a visual and music artist based in Toronto.

Visual Art
I create visual art to capture the beauty that surrounds me. I do so through my signature line style which I have been developing since I was introduced to (and fell in love with) a technique called blind contour, 8 years ago. In my artwork, I seek to highlight the details of the people and places I come across and find fascinating.

"Places and Faces"
Through the Desire Lines Emerging Artist program, I collaborated with the TTC, VIBE Arts, and RBC Bank to design a billboard for public display on the TTC. With two blank canvases to fill, I digitally weaved my drawings together to tell a story of the places and faces I've had the pleasure of meeting and exploring.
The panels were on display at Finch subway station from January to August 2020.
"Megalomania"
A large-scale mural I was commissioned to create in a Toronto District School Board public school. Spanning 3 floors, this winding chain of faces artfully connected hundreds of school community members from students to staff to caretakers, and it became a joyful point of pride and unity for the school.

A collection of portraits and precious moments in colour, from 2019 and throughout quarantine.
Earlybird
In addition to visual art, I also write and perform music (and also apparently bring people the feels!) under the moniker Earlybird.
I don't always live up to the name, but I do manage to keep my music refreshingly honest; my soulful songs shed light on the beauty in brokenness and brim with rawness, vulnerability, and ultimately, hope.
I find great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the music creation process and have collaborated with various other local Canadian musicians over the past 3 years. Keep scrolling to learn more and listen!
"Make Believe"

This R&B jam was my first Earlybird recording project, written and recorded back in 2017. I collaborated with various recording and mixing engineers at Sandbox Studios to record it and bring the song to life. The project was also produced in collaboration with the Ryerson Songwriters Advocating Teamwork. Scroll down to listen:
"Spark the Flame"
by Jon Corbin ft. Sintax the Terrific and Earlybird
I collaborated with award-winning hip hop and spoken word artist Jon Corbin for this song on his 'Hearts Set Ablaze' EP. My first musical collaboration with another recording artist, I wrote and contributed various vocals which appear throughout the track, and bring the song to a soft end landing. What a pleasure it was to be a part of this project!
"Archipelago"
by Sycamore ft. Earlybird
This summery song was the result of a collaboration with Sycamore. The indie pop-rock band hailing from Mississauga asked me to contribute the lead vocal on the song they had written about community, and I'm so glad they did. Recorded in a home studio in North York, Archipelago has reached listeners all over the world, ensuing fun dance jams along the way.
"Garden"
by Onglish ft. Earlybird
This dreamy and ambient song came out of a back-and-forth collaboration with Hamilton-based producer Onglish. The original beat inspired by Onglish's houseplants would soon become "Garden" when I wrote the song's lyrics about a very special place in which I am completely free. My relaxed vocals float on a bed of Onglish's textured sounds, creating an atmosphere that listeners can take a deep dive into.
"Somewhere Else"

This song, written in early 2019, became a collaborative project when I joined forces with a group of RTA media production students for their thesis project "Bittersweet". As the artist, I had the pleasure of collaborating with this multi-disciplinary team from the recording of the song to the conceptualizing of the story and filming of the music video.
